Exhibition Statement
This is a self-portrait constructed from 100 repetitive thoughts I found myself having over the course of a few weeks. Most were negative—attempts to tear myself down, but a few were positive—the ones that kept me moving forward, despite the noise (I wrote those out in black so they would stand out amidst the grays).
I want this piece to serve as a reminder that the little voice in our heads, the one that tries to make us feel like we aren't enough, isn’t the only one there is.
