This branding package was a paid commission that I did for my friend's new app, "Toki." I created this logo from the ground up as they gave me little guidance apart from hex codes and the general vibe I should strive for. Because of that, I ended up doing a ton of brainstorming and pages of sketches before I landed on something that both my friend and his co-founder liked (slide 11). Then, I vectorized the illustrations and did a bunch of versions and colorways so that they would have enough graphics for their site (both regular and 'dark-mode'), as well as several app faces to choose from.

This was my first full branding project and it taught me a lot about the process of developing a brand identity, as well as working with clients directly—especially when they are unsure of what exactly they're looking for.
