Exhibition Statement

For this sculpture, we were tasked with creating a composition made entirely out of found objects without using any of the traditional methods of adhesion (e.g., glue or tape). And before you ask, yes, the opening scene of Coraline was indeed one of the inspirations behind this piece—as well as the song "The Fixer" by Brent Morgan, which deals with subject matter that I find especially hard-hitting and relatable.
