Exhibition Statement

I did this painting to celebrate the release of my friend Stevie's song, "Passenger Seat" (Stream on Spotify). The main figure is inspired by a photo that was taken mid guitar solo a couple of years back that I thought had a super cool, abstract vibe. I introduced a bit more of my style to the piece (I'm not usually a painter, you see), through the use of a white acrylic marker to add the topographical designs to the figure and some of the lyrics from his song as an all-encompassing outline of sorts.
