Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and talk to my younger self—tell her how strong she is and that she is going to be okay. So, I designed stickers that show present ‘me’ interacting with past versions of myself, comforting them. I then went back to two of my old houses and photographed the stickers in front of them, with the third taken where I live now. The process of creating this piece showed me how art can give us closure when we otherwise wouldn’t be given the chance.
