Exhibition Statement

These two panels are an attempt to represent our duality: One side is calm and content while the other is chaotic and confused. Most of the time one is at the forefront of our minds, controlling our moods and behaviors, but the other is always there and they are continually melting and mixing into each other—ebbing and flowing and demonstrating our complex humanity. The piece can be viewed with either panel on top so that the composition maintains its fluidly and cyclicality.
